    Hans,
Compared to a Carl Wild eagle on the IAB this eagle is beautifull!

      Thanks Chet, Giel, and Hans

I really love to collect complete set of badges. I think that is one of our dreams to collect whole set of an award.

Hans, this eagle head is cool, but the picture looks vague. I think my camera focus was on bottom of tank, so head was not clear. I will say this eagle is not as cute as SHuCo IAB's eagle head, but it is better than some others, right my friend?

      best regards

      Indy

        You are right Chet!

I got a CW IAB lately, and I found CW IAB's eagle head was funny. I think it looks like a frightened eagle.

CW eagles are not exactly what i call a good looking bird.

          I couldn´t agree more Indy.

It´s funny though how some makers took a wierd design of their eagles to be used on their badges etc. Some don´t even look like an eagle!

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

            Guys,
The Carl Wild eagle has always appeared (to me) as a eagle who has had his neck streached and thus his eye bulges out!

                      Hi guys,

Indy no problem with your badges nice original, looks like the type with the subdued finish.

Eric, what can I say that is on of the nicest PAB's I have ever seen and by far the best white silver frosted Aurich I layed my eyes on. Absolutely stunning example and to see this delicate finish surviving for 60+ years always is a pleasure to the eye. Thanks for sharing and take very good care of her

                          Larger Pics

                          Thanks for all the compliments

Those are at the max 500 megapixels tall. They were the pics from the seller, I resized to fit. The pics are about one shade brighter than the actual badge. I think this is the case with most pics here. It is a stud. I am looking for a marked bronze of similar quality. Anybody got a hot lead???

I have begun a new phase in my collecting. cataloging in case I get hit by the perverbial truck. Also I will be able to print the spread sheet and keep it with me. I weigh and measure all my items. Then give them a catalog number. This one is 30 grams, My scale doesn't do tenths and occasionally bounces between two numbers. height is 60.o mm width at point just above where track sticks out 40.5 mm. width of hinge at widest point 8.1 mm thickness of pin 1.5 mm. All taken with a digital caliper should be extremely accurate. Hope these measurements help somebody down the line.
