                        Much better photos. Love the patina, and with just enough brighter silver still showing to give it a good look. Congrats! Definitely a rare piece.

                              Thank you very much Dave Jordan and Chay Appreciate your comments I am really glad I came across this superb badge. Yes you are right white background should be much better I will do that when I have the chance. I got this badge at a flea market in Normandy at St Mere Eglise on D Day anniversary, so it cannot get any better than that, hope that other fellow collectors like it as much as those ones who have already posted an opinion
