Number of awarded IAB

I am struggling to find some sort of concrete number of awarded infantry badges.

Is it because I search wrong keywords or the numbers are unknown due to high volume of awarding and low level of authorization needed? Thank you!

Hello. Many soldiers were issued this badge since all they had to do was take part in combat on 3 separate days after June 1st 1940. So just about anyone could get one. I believe so much were issued that we can't keep count of how much. I tried doing the search once and still don't have the answer. Hope this helps, Martin.
