PAB 100 But Is It Good??

    Hello people,

I keep getting caught out on all the badges & insignia I have had over the years.

This came via Jamie Cross years ago with a certificate included.

    Is it any good?

I'm pretty bad at this. Edged Weapons are my strong point, not medals.

I can return it if bad.

Thanks in advance, all comments welcome.

Hello. IMO the badge is a bad one. To begin with, this badge is not Juncker quality. The fonts on the hundred are not correct. Secondly the head of the eagle looks like a pigeon. And if I am correct the rivets on this badge should silver or aluminium. I have not seen any juncker PAB 75/100 with the brass colored rivets. Here is one you can compare with. Martin

Blimey, another attack of "Das Pigeon".

Thanks Martin, I was only thinking about the number font not being right.

Will be no problem to return after a phone call, unless anyone else has any other advice?

      Cheers

P.S. I'll stick to pointy stuff only from now on.

The detail on the obverse is clearly wrong..the Eagle appalling.

A prestigious and rare to find award, originals sell for in excess of 15k.

I brought it at least 11 years ago when they were about £800 UK Sterling. It is being sorted out now.

No one is infallible, but unfortunately, the Jamie Cross website requires consultation
