tdb cloth for reveiw

I wanted to know if this one was a WWII late war made tank destruction badge . I seen it is different than the they say are original. Thank you in advance Cliff

Here are some embroidered examples from the excellent book 'Tank Killer's.
Yours does bare a resemblance to one of them.
Whether they were officially awarded pieces or privately purchased is unknown.

Hi Jeff what makes you think it is a fake for sure? If you look at he ones posted from the book it has a tank like the one. Also I have never seen a fake with the correct black lines on it . And I have seen tank badges with this type backing . But you could be right. It has a late war date on the back of it. Cliff

Hi Cliff, even though the Panzer looks similar to the one in the photo I posted I wouldn't be comfortable enough to own the one you have shown. Not enough is known about these embroidered ones to be honest and the date on the back of yours seems fishy to me.

I agree, fake for me too. Never seen this machine made type before and with the extra date on top
