Two CCC in silver for your review please.Top one looks okay,silver finish worn.Bottom one is heavily plated and I'm not convinced this is right-all comments appreciated.Thanks in advance gents.

Hi Troy,
Looks like two original Close Combat Clasps. The one at the top is by Steinhauer & Lück. Judging from the reverse I would say this is actually a Bronze CCC. The Friedrich Linden is original, but I suspect it has been re-finished. Looks like someone punched out the backplate, probably to facilitate the refinish. It may not even be the original backplate. Looks like it is no longer being held in by the crimping.

The Linden as I say is heavily plated rather than a silver wash and you might be right that it could have been re-done at one time.The back plate is very secure but pleased its right from your comments/description.
