    ......I think you are making the correct decision by returning this badge. How I personally feel about these aberrations has already been mentioned.

    You have assembled a excellent collection of Gablonz awards and I certainily have enjoyed your sharing them here.

      Thanks, Bruce. After further examination and directing two other persons to this thread, I have decided to keep it. Neither I nor they can find any issues in the construction and details of this badge when compared to other RK attributed GABs that point to it being a reproduction. Of course, no one can explain why it was finished in bronze but the same can be said for almost any bronze finished GAB that has been found. And though to some it may seem that a lot of bronze GABs are popping up, they are really quite few compared to the massive numbers of their silver brethren that are out there.

      Of course, I may one day have to eat crow for my opinion, but I'm quite happy to take that risk!
