Both these are priced at $55 for reenactors, but doubt that is the only price they are sold at

          Greg,
Considering this past week we have seen a couple of the older fakes reappear this is good timing on your part. Some of the newer collectors may not be aware that these are "well known" fakes. Now, if we can get others to post fakes they know of (such as Brian has done) besides these then we can refresh eveyones memory. Good job!

Soon my hard drive will be full of fake PAB pictures..thanks for all the hard work Greg, it's very much appreciated Here's a fake AWS that I unfortunately own it was the first one I ever bought and of course it's missing the famous crimp on the catch that the originals always have.At least it only cost me 90.00.

Thanks for sharing this. I would like to help you with the "blob" fake and post a scann of them.

                          Cheers.

                            Great thread

Hi Greg! Thanks a lot for this great thread, much appreciated. It´s hard to believe how many still believe on these "ball hinge HA" PABs... at least here in Brazil. Well, i´m adding a "Juncker" design fake. I problably got this picture here on the forum, but sorry, i forgot who posted it.

As a novice collector of German awards I'm very glad to see a thread like this one. So often (unfortunately) you guys tell me I've posted a "well-known fake". I'm always grateful for the information, but it'd be better yet if the fakes were well-known to me. If I diligently study these PABs perhaps I won't clutter up the forum with as many bad pieces in the future.

                              Great idea Greg, Thanks.
