I just wanted to share my latest badge with everyone. I just got it in and I am very happy with it.

    I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

That is a very good looking GAB son. Does the wifey know what you spent on it?

        Hi Eric,

Well that's an example for the educated GAB collector. Most people won't touch them because not only the design but also the set-up got burned due to the JFS GAB- and other IAB copies.

Personaly I have no problem with the badge you posted and like to think that it was made by the same maker responsible for this GAB that shares the same obverse design. Always wanted to ask Frank's opinion on that but now that I think about it I never did. Well I'm sure he'll find his way to your thread

That is one nice looking GAB! That is indeed a GAB for the advanced collector. Congrats

                Best Regards

                  Dear Philippe,

Eric was so kind to let me handle this particular GAB before I sent it on to him and I liked it. It is indeed the semi-hollow variation of the massive GAB you posted. The JFS style fake is a bit different: on the reverse, the fakes follows the outline of the feathertip within the scooped out area. As we can see, the originals remain straight in that area.
                  Cheers, Frank
