Army Para Badges for Opinions....

Gentlemen,

Curious if either of these have a chance of being pre-1945. Sources are old house calls and "vet" family purchases. Badge on the left appears to be aluminum, is missing its catch and is unmarked. On the right is marked on reverse "Friedrich Keller Oberstein." Any opinions??

The one on the right definitely no chance on that one and the left appears to be made of zinc, though.

The example missing pin is authentic the other is a copy

correct the one on the left is the Juncker pattern and the other is bad

ps the fittings tend to be weak on these

I can only agree, the left is a fine original Juncker but the right one is a fake. Too bad about the missing pin.
