I think it's original unknown "Juncker set-up" with replaced catch.

Thanks Chet, my mate will be disapointed as he has had it in his collection for many years

There's a shame I bought circa 15 plus years ago ... hoping it was either an S&L or an unknown maker with "Juncker type" hardware setup?
Pete thanks for posting it for me .... & Chet for your consideration

I did not realise that they were faking that hardware set-up 15 plus years ago ... but I guess you live & learn!

Hi Guys! ... sitting at home snowed in! ... wondering if there are any further comments on my PAB? If I go with Chet - it's straight in the repro' junk box! .... If I go with Ryuuk, I have an original unknown maker, with "Juncker type set-up"??
I would like to sell this one on, so further considered opinions would be very much appreciated

                    Many thanks

An original for me, but definitely a replaced catch and also doesn't have any finish left.

                          Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Firstly .. Thank you very much Ryuuk for your most detailed response ... when you see them side by side, obverse & reverse, fake & original, it confirms to me, the "case for the defence" regarding the originality of my PAB! It gave me a warm & fuzzy feeling.... as opposed to that gutted feeling after being burnt! ......albeit circa 15 plus years ago [pre my internet!]! ... your confidence also takes a bit of knock!

Thanks also to Tom .... supporting the case for the defence .. i'm a happy bunny!!

                            Cheers!

                            Hadrian ... snowbound but happy!!

                              Hi Hadrian

......Would you be so kind as to post side shots/images of the PAB? Face down and face up?

                              Thanks.
