    Bronze Close Combat Clasps

    Hi guys,

I bought two Close Combat Clasps over the weekend at a gun show. This AMGuK is one that I owned many years ago. When I first bought it the clasp was still tied to a small cardboard remnant of a Deumer display board. I remember it well because of the crack running all the way through the center of the clasp and there is no doubt that this is the same one I owned long ago. I think I sold it about 10 years ago, but I can't remember where or to whom I sold it. Anyway I saw it at the show this weekend and bought it again. This clasp amazes me that it is still one piece. I see no evidence of any kind of repair but it must have been professionally repaired somehow.

    Here is the AGMuK:

I also got this JFS CCC. It is in really nice shape with no issues.

      Best regards,
      Tom

That AGMuK must be held together by a thread! Still very nice, as is the JFS.

Both very nice pick ups Tom, as usual. Especially the early JFS, I can never get enough of these with their high quality finish and excellent hardware attachment setup.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

The AGMuK. Was it like one of your kids coming back? Albeit the problems, it's a one of a kind, and if it could speak........
