It looks like a nice example but I believe the pin may have been replaced.
As far as I know, these are not known to have pointed pins.

IMO, original cupal badge with original pin.

For me original cupal badge too, pin is original.
I have seen this sort of oxidation before on assmann
cupal pabs. Seems they are vulnerable for this.
Anyway a great and sought after badge

Can't comment on the pin, but the badge itself looks flawless
