    Anti-Partisan Badge: Opinions

    Hello:

Looking this item over for purchase, but have convinced myself this is a Staegemeir fake.

Hoping against hope that someone will tell me I am wrong! As always appreciate everyone being tough and frank in their responses.

    Many thanks,
    Gary Munson

I think the less than clear pictures are making this one look like a high quality casting. After looking at the images closely I like the hardware and I think better images could show this one to be original. On the negative side what is the whitish colored stuff in two of the cutouts? Like Antonio says we need some measurements.

This badge was offered me a couple of weeks ago. At the beginning I thought it was a good one, but checking it better this is not a one looker for sure. Many odd points on it and pictures taken in that way, without knowing exact measurements, can only let us thinking to pass on it.
Let's wait to see if the owner will take some decent daylight pictures and close ups and measurements with caliber.

Jeff V, what looks white is the product of cleaning to be able to sell it in 321. They are remains of "Renaissance".
                  Thank you

                    Hi guys,

the hardware looks fishy to me, close but not correct. Finish also is suspicious to me. Maybe some better pics will show otherwise.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                      Apologies

This badge is currently being offered on an auction site. As such, these are the best photos I have available, and do not have the badge in-hand for measurements.

However, I see that the owner has weighed in and has indicated additional info to follow.

                      Many thanks!

Was the sword finished black at one point? It appears to be a different color than the rest of the badge. Perhaps an attempt to copy a super rare APB, which was done wrong.

                            munsongary, I'm like you.
If someone wants more images, you can ask me to:
                            bauser88@yahoo.es
Comment that I see a lot of "free" answers but I imagine they are from the photos presented.
I simply want to sell part of MY collection as worthily as I can.
                            Thank you all.

I see that no one asks for new photos ... or does anyone contribute any reason to comment ... is this normal? or is there some hidden interest?
