        Hello,

        That is a nice badge and not often seen. It is referred to as a "pillow crimp" but with a scooped K98 rifle. It is definitely not the standard pillow crimp IAB. I believe the badge like you have has been attributed to the manufacturer Ferdinand Hoffstätter of Bonn.

              Hi Skalp,

              I can only agree with the others, a very nice original Hoffstatter IAB. Very hard to find, here is a link to mine with some good info on how we identified the maker of this one.
