Who is the maker of this badge? I am a paper guy and my knowledge with badges is very limited and I need to expand it despite I have a lot of books, but still have not the ability to research badges.

I think is a B.H. Mayer, numbered in the Philippe De Book book as 4.1.1.

          Am I right?

          Thanks

            Hi Angel,

Your PAB was made by Otto Schickle. They lost their liscense in early 1941 and the leftover stocks were sold to other Pforzheim makers like BH Mayer and Zimmerman, etc, so that is why you will sometimes find them marked with different LDO codes on the pin. That is where the confusion comes in and this was discovered only after Phil’s PAB book was published.

                Anytime Angel.

Here is my Schickle, marked with Mayer's L/18 code on the pin, took me quite awhile before I could find this rare variant.
