Indeed, I tested a fake daisy and a real one in a SEM. Both were so alike that honestly unless I had the real one right next to the fake I probably would have been fooled. When both are side-by-side you won't get taken, but otherwise it is tough. I am sure Phillipe will think me a rube
, but for me it was not so easy.

For sure I wouldn't. Like you wrote yourself only in a direct comparison with the original does it become obvious. I still remember our dear friend Tony Barto, posting his Silver and Bronze Daisy PAB's after he got back from the SOS two years ago. Everybody including myself gave him tumbs up based upon the pictures he posted. Only one year later after Greg got his hands on such a cast copy and took some measurements did things become clear.

hELLO ALL, THANK`S FOR REPLYING. THE TWO PAB`s I MENTIONED, BOTH SILVER, WERE AQUIRED AT THE GREAT WESTERN IN 1975. FAKES OLDER?? ANYONE KNOW WHEN THOSE VERY GOOD FAKE`S APPEARED?? I CAN HOPE!

IMO you should be save, the fakes discussed above are fairly recent and the only fakes of Daisy PAB's I ever came across. Without pics however it's difficult to help you, are you able to e-mail pictures?

Hello, Philippe. I would like very much to be able to post or e-mail photo`s. I`m 58 and a complete baby using computer`s. I have both camera & scanner but I bought everything from a friend and there`s No instruction`s or paperwork. What a mess. I will learn.
