Unmarked convex PAB

Hello again all,
The details on the obverse appear quite crisp, but what bothers me is the working on the left reverse which makes me think of spin casting.
What are your opinions?

It is an original St.&L, "Juncker set up".

I would guess bronze with most of the finish absorbed by the zinc.
