    Opinions on IAB Badges

    Hi guys,

I have 3 Infantry Assault badges that I would like some opinions on.

Do these look okay to everyone?

    Thank you!

I can't speak for all three, but the center Gablonzer made MK3 looks good to me and not an easy one to find. Might do to have a closeup of the maker mark without the pin in the way, but I believe it is a numeral 3.

        Hi bsrmilitaria

......All three look legit to me.
@Dale: Badge number 2 definitely looks like it has the numeral 3. It is a difficult badge to find with that marking.

Yes it is; I have the silver version but have been looking a long time for the bronze version.

BTW, looks to me that the Wernstein has a replaced hook.

The one on the left is a St.&L and the one of the right is by E Ferdinand Wiedmann.

Wow guys thanks so much. I really do appreciate the help. I am more of a helmet guy and exploring other areas of collecting now.

Lastly the center badge is marked M.K.3 as you all called!

              Thanks again!

I can only agree with Ralph, all 3 are fine originals with the left one being S&L and the right being a Wiedmann. I think the catch is fine on the Wiedmann, doesn't look replaced to me.

Nice MK3 as well, very hard IAB to find.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Guess I had a brain fart, knew it was Wiedmann but wrote Wernstein. Either way, glad to hear it's not replaced hardware.
