    Unmarked General Assault Badge

Hello guys, came across this one this evening... I like it, looks like a good genuine item to me. Would like your help to confirm this? Also, can anyone help with identifying the maker ?

An original badge, but the maker is still unknown at this time unfortunately. Most likely a Vienna-based maker based on the obverse design which was shared by several makers in that area.

      Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I thought it was an original Tom, very nice crisp details on the obverse, thanks for confirming that.. oh wow that's a cool fact. Are there any lists of makers from Vienna anywhere ? Just so I can do some reading up on them

              Hi
As I’ve posted in previous threads, it is my belief that the GAB pictured at the top of this thread was manufactured by Grossman and Son of Vienna. My view is in line with that of Frank Heukemes (who wrote the definitive textbook on GABs and who sold me the maker marked badge in my collection.)
              See: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=704942
              Best regards,

I agree Grossman could be the maker of this badge.
But I believe there should be more evidence, so far I have only seen the 11 marked example.
I'm hoping there will pop up more evidence to link this design to Grossman.
