    Hi
I would say that both badges look good.
The rivets, number box and set up are what I would like to see

Both are original. Are both pins and catches damaged?

            Hi Jeff,
Yes indeed they are both damaged, it appears they have been cut in half!
It's very possible they are war trophies !
            Kind regards Chay

Was that the easiest way for them to be removed ? By cutting them? Just wondering...

Does the pins being cut and the damaged catches affect their values greatly ?

                      Good morning,
He overall condition will affect the value considerably but they still have a reasonable value, how much would they cost?
Emedals is a good point of reference !
                      Regards Chay

Indeed, both original Brehmer's, in a sea of fakes. Nice to see some originals for a change, but too bad about the damage.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

The damage could very well derive from them being torn from the owners uniform by an allied soldier.

                            Cheers Thomas

Thanks tom and Thomas for your opinions, would either of you hazard a rough guess at a value on these two? Taking into account the damage...
