Close Combat clasp & GAB - real?

Hi, I have had these two badges in my 'Fake box' for a few years, but just wanted to be sure they are fake (not some variants!) as they seem to be of reasonable quality?

    Regards, Paul

The CCC is a fake, the GAB I need to see my books so I hope others can enlighten you better.

Looking for DKiG Heer winner Soldbuch who also won the TDB and/or CCC, specially in Silver.

          Hi Paul,

The Close Combat Clasp is a common fake as Angel says. The General Assault badge is an original by Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen.

          Best regards,
          Tom

Angel/ Tom, thank-you very much for taking a look.

And very good news that the General Assault badge is reprieved!

            Many thanks, Paul

              Hi Paul,

I can only agree with the others, a fine original Wurster GAB with not much finish remaining and common FLL fake CCC.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Many thanks Thomas, it's usually the other way around, a supposed original turns out to be fake, I thought the GAB looked a bit too good to be wrong!

                Best regards, Paul
