    Gab

Who is the maker for this GAB? Is this a common maker or a little hard to find? Thank you for your help. Jurgen

    Hi Jurgen,

It looks like a Gebrüder Wegerhoff of Lüdenscheid, but with replaced hardware. IMO the hinge, pin, and the 'c' part of the catch are not original to the badge.

    Best regards,
    Tom

is correct I believe about the repairs.

These are not easy to find. Even in this worn and repaired condition it is a desirable badge. I like it.

I agree with the guys above. Scarce GWL with replaced hardware.

I also agree: an original GWL with replaced/repaired hardware.
Nevertheless a very rare GAB, with a nice finish/condition of the obverse.

Hard to find GWL all cut out GAB. The hinge and pin are replacements but the catch is a proper variant by this manufacturer.

                Hi Jurgen

Just nice to find one with the cutouts even with the mentioned hardware issues.

                regards
                Graeme
