Panzer Assault Badge, Opinions Kindly Requested

Novice collector here. I bought this PAB today and I would sincerely appreciate any input or comments as to originality. It was not guaranteed to be real (or fake) but it was inexpensive, so I took a gamble.

Its an old fake of an as triangle pab...this is actually my first ever german badge and i still have it...even though its fake.

Take a look at originals and you will see the obvious differences.

An original bronze example to compare.

From what I can tell in a side by side comparison is the following:

My badge is not hollow backed

There is an overlap of the flat section behind the swastika

The rectangular shapes on the side of the turret and body are different

The maker mark is in the wrong place


I guess, as they say, the devil is in the details..

Happy to report that the seller of this item agreed to take it back for a refund. I will be a bit more diligent on future purchases. Thank you gents who responded.
