    Technische Nothilfe Honour Badge

I’ve been looking at my Teno badge and was trying to find a little bit about it. It was sent from a little town north of Munich as a birthday present in the 1980s. It has a name on the box, Dr Alb W Lehner 3115, also some writing in purple which is faint. I have tried and tried to read it, I’m thinking maybe it is an address. I have found on Ancestry in Munchen 1915 a Dr Albert Lehner, occupation Rechtsanwalt, working at Kanzlei Dachauerst. 23 T and living at Malsenst. 45, that name is also at the same addresses in 1925, 1930, 1935 and it also says Justizrat, but what part would he have played in the emergency service, if it is indeed him? Do any other of these badges found have names on the boxes and the number 3115?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, the number should match the one on the back of the badge. If it doesn't, its mismatched. The role he played is anyone's guess, but he must have been a longstanding member to receive this.

Nice original badge by the way

      As Tony has indicated.

The number on the tags should match the number on the reverse of the award.

Here is another from the same year which will confirm that yours is excellent, if the numbers do in fact match.

            Great badge and box.

I have one just like it but without the recipients name.

            Current value around £1000.

Thanks Stan, that's food for thought.
Does anyone know why these badges were awarded, was it for long service or for doing something special?

Thanks for your positive comment Jack. I appreciate it!
I've had to put it on the e-stand for sale, but that's life.
                      Regards Mandy
