So I guess my question is, are there any know daisy repros with a track flaw such as this? Or is the flaw a dead ringer for an original?

Not only that flaw but a lot of other details are less outspoken on this copy. Definite no for me.

Hi Dante,

I agree, this one is a reproduction with several red flags. The flaw as you mention, but also the weird reverse hardware setup and also the odd finish compared with originals are all bad signs to look for.

As Tom pointed out, there is more going on than just the track flaw on this example.

Tom, yes the finish is bizarre ...its like a mustard yellow..im thinking rattle can job here. I'm kind of curious what's underneath since the pin shows areas of white silver frosting. If it wasn't a repro to begin with it would be fun to try to remove it.
