Bought this one as a copy, but today i got to look a bit closer and thought it was really good looking. I'm not much of an expert in medals so what do you guys say. Could this by any chance be an original Assmann?

Unfortunately I believe this is a fake like the one in the thread below, but rather than being based on the Vienna design of IABs, it looks to me like a fake based on the MK/Zimmermann design. Others with more experience than I have should be able to give you a more complete assessment.

The obverse design on this IAB looks like that used by Assmann, but the obverse and set up give it away as a fake.
