    Hi!

    How many Eichenlaubträgers are there, that is not among those 882 official? I have seen pictures of Oakleaves winners, that are only Knights Cross winners in official records. An example is Kurt Veth. I got a picture of him with oakleaves on.

    The official number is 882 German recipients and 8 foreigners :

    There are also other ones whose the recommandation did not reach the LPA or HPA due to hectic conditions at the very end of the war. As such, many of them were awarded the OL but this was not officialized by the Persone Office of the Branch :

        I did not have Herbert Dropmann in my list. All I know is that he was awarded 9 Tank Destruction Badges (!) as well as the RK on 12/07/44. Will have a look in BiblioVerlag's books this evening and keep u informed next monday.
