SS Demjiansk shild wit doc. Opinions?

Hello guys,
I've found this lot "buried" in one of my drawers for some years. I need to know your opinions about the shild and, possibly, some information about the signers of the award doc.

Well I have to agree, this shield don´t look period made.
Can´t comment the doc.

After repeat look on shield pics once again I'm to consider it to be original (unknown maker).
But cloth and paper still appear fake for me.

Thanks for your answers. I'm waiting for more information because it seems that opinion i divided about the shield.
I bought this lot a few years ago by a well-known American salesman I think also present on this forum.

I've found the same award document on Foreman's book "Guide To Third Reich German Documents...and Their Values" first volume page 266:



As you can see the document seems to be the same. Also the signature of the Oberleutnant is the same. I submitted also the document to the test of the Wood lamp and the response has been that the paper is of the period.
Any opinons about it?

I'm no expert by any means, but by casual observation one thing that bothers me - even the ones in the book - is that the General's signature is identical on every one of them. Perfectly straight. Same strokes. No variations at all. Almost like it's an auto-pen.

As to authenticity...I don't have a vote.

I assume that you are not expert but the signature of the general, in alla the awrds docs, is printed by a stamp!
