You guys cannot believe this minty PO badge! It was magnificent. I was ALLOWED to see her up close at the SOS and again for a longer period of time on the plane ride back to Texas. I looked at every detail with my jewelers loupe and I just observed it in the case .. . . the sparkle and attention to detail was unmistakable. I had never seen such an example. All i knew at the time was that the makers mark was spot on.

Wait until you guys see Skipper's 25 tank badge! Peter S. scooped up a solid all metal picklehaube. Don't forget Tom D.'s super maker marked pilot badge and Mike Pinkus' 50 tank badge! At every turn someone found a diamond in the hay-stack.

    What a great weekend!

Thanks guys for all the warm replies. I also have to give a special thanks to Jason. Because of a mix-up he accidentally sent me photos of the PO badge from his personal collection. When he realized what he'd done, with kahunas bigger than grapefruits, he reached under the table and handed me his personal badge (which was nicer than the one I was promised). Anyway I have to admit, I'm extatic.

                      Larry,

It's about time! How many POs have escaped your clutching fingers. This GWL was worth the wait. Jason strikes again.

                        Mark,
As you well know, Jason is just the Santa for us older guys. I think I heard his reindeer on Mike Heuers roof last night.
