    S-o-s 25 Pab

Still experimenting with the camera and it's stopped raining for a bit, so here are a few shots of one of my S-O-S finds. Thanks Larry, Dietrich, Peter and all the others who helped out!

Beautiful, Skipper! That redefines the word "crisp."

Thanks to all for the good wishes. I also picked up a stunning Glider Pilot badge at the S-O-S from fellow Forum Member Ron Burgos. As soon as time and the weather permit, I'll post pics of it as well.

                  Best,

I had the privelege to check this baby out first hand on Friday night after the purchase. I agree with Dietrich, the pics do not do this badge justice. It is an awesome, crisp piece. The detailing in the eagles talons and the acorns is just unbelievable. And that is viewing it under a haze of cigar smoke and dim bar lighting .

Great purchase Skip. It was great to meet you and Larry on this trip.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                      Hi Skip......

......very nice. This result of the power of collective evaluation goes to show how beneficial our collecting fraternity has become, via this website.

Looks like everyone had a pretty good time at the show. Congratulations!
