      Is it recommendable for badges with such a nice finish to give them a vaseline bath to maintain their finish?

      I have a growing interest in badges incl. the GABs and PABs 75/100, but shy away all the time since I fear they will eventually turn grey on me.

      Any experiences/recommendations?

        Hi Markus,

        I think a vaseline bath is a good idea, I do it with all my badges and has helped to maintain them.

        However I think the more important thing to do is keep the room as low humidity as possible. Zink reacts to moisture, so the best thing to do especially with CCCs is to keep the humidity to a minimum in the room.
