    Deschler planchet

    Hi guys

Here's a little something i was able to buy recently for my own collection. A hard to find unfinished Deschler (or used to be called "prototype") PAB.

Very interesting to see it got perforated with 4 holes, making me think this one was actually sewn on a uniform.

Hope you guys like this special little bugger!

    Hi Giel,

Very nice pickup! Super rare Deschler and one I would snatch up as well given the change due to their extreme rarity.

Doesn't look like any hardware was ever applied and I doubt this would have been worn by any German soldier during the war. I suspect the drill holes might have been for someone to mount this souvenier on a board or album cover.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

      Hi Giel

I agree, a very interesting badge to add to your collection.

Nice touch with the 4 holes and for me it has that nicely aged appearance.

You seem to be finding a few unique badges lately

      best regards
      Graeme
