    IAB W.H for review

    Hi all , i just picked this up at a show , i liked how it looked but i am not there yet on Iabs , would like to know if i scored well or its a piece of garbage ! Any help would be appreciated

        Unfortunately, this one is a well known fake.

        As Ralph shows, the original Wilhelm Hobacher's look quite different.

          Definitely a bad one as the other guys have mentioned.

          I think you will see at least one of those in the fakes thread for you to compare.

            Indeed, common fake.

            Very nice original Hobacher in comparison Ralph, very nice my friend.

              Also does anyone recommend a nice book on Iabs so i can learn more about them ?

                Hi Peter,

                Sascha Weber's book on the IAB is as good as it gets now, but unfortunately missing quite a few makers and variants. Its a good overall reference though and I recommend it.

                Our member Fischer is currently working on a new book that will be much more complete, just not sure when it thinks it will be out.
