        Hi,

it is not fake but fantasy actually.

The "Richard Siepper" is an old fantasy favorite.

First thing to check : is there is something written on the back like "RZM" and codes, this is bad.

Then you can check "Germanische Leistungsrune" on the board for more infos, especially the two latest types of fake models.

            Hi,

no the Germanische Leistungsrune existed, but the old fakes have fantasy features that can't trick a 2017 collector.

To me those old fakes are fantasy ones, modern fakes are far more dangerous and have many "good" features of the originals.

Below is an original bronze model, courtesy of HH 73, lot 8371.

Yes I can see the differences now.. I have been collecting a few years now but never seen this badge at all.. are the SS Runes always attached via the prongs through the swastika itself ?

                    Hi,

Affiliated Auctions & Realty LLC are proposing a similar model (with the pin glued upside down, to the contrary of the vast majority of the "Richard Sieper" fantasy GL) on their February 18, 2017 auction.

This "silver" fake is quite ugly...
