Dear majorpayne,
I will offer definite opinions about the IABs and a guess about the Flak badge:
-first IAB silver is a fake, you will notice that it is unnaturally flat and lacks the line on the gun butt. I attached the bronze version of that fake that I had the chance to examine.
-second IAB "FLL" bronze is fine, I see no problems.
-Flak badge looks ok to me, but cannot say for sure, just a gut feeling.

Frank, are you sure about this Flak Badge, it looks very much like the ones flying around milweb by the hundred.
Look carefully around the edges of the wreath and the sides of the cannon, are there heavy lines that look like rough file marks? if so the this is a cast copy which has then been sawn out with a fine saw, the marks are the teeth marks from the blade.

Gentlemen:
For whatever this may be worth, Hermann Wernstein manufactured IAB's without vaulting. These pieces I refer to though were marked with his logo.
He also made an unmarked general assault badge without any vaulting. May I suggest we not condemn too quickly a badge because it is unvaulted. But as you do clearly imply, one should carefully examine any badge, vaulted or not.
I would gladly provide an example, accept my computer ate my files again! Drat!
With best regards,
Dan.
