Who are the makers of my hollow bronze IAB s?

    Hi,
I always thought, that the first IAB is a Schickle/Mayer die2. The badge hold the finish very well. The hinge is magnetic, catch and needle are not.

The second looks like a FCL. The needle is magnetic, hinge and catch not. Unlike most other hollow FCL´s this one hasn´t a straight hinge-foot and there´s no gap between the swastika and the rifle. I hope, that it´s still ok.

    Am I right?

    Thank´s for looking
    Thorsten

Hi there, you're right on #1. #2 is a FLL IMO. Stewy

        you are right!
        1) B.H. Mayer / Otto Schickle design

            Thanks.

Both are zinc badges. Are the fcl badges with the gap between rifle and
swastika earlier than the ones without or were they produced at the same time??

              Hi Kirk,

I can only agree with the others, both fine originals. As you say, first is a Schickle with the 2nd one being an unmarked F&CL.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
