    S & L CCC (I think)

Just received this in the mail from one of our banner member dealers

The over all bronze finish is beautiful. No maker mark but hardware indicates it's a Steinhauer & Luck. The plate is there but came off in shipping.

What are your feelings about the badge?

I agree, fine original wartime-compatible S&L clasp. Too bad about the missing plate, sounds like it was a replacement anyway if it just fell out during shipping

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Super sharp S&L, even without the backing plate.

Nothing can beat the detail on S&L clasps for me. Great clasp, and indeed saw about the missing plate...
                Kind regards,
                Giel

Have to give a big shout out to Steve Mezey of Kampfgruppe Militaria as this is where the CCC came from.
