A great rarity!!! Early Würster PAB in.....

    SILVER!!!!

Shakey hands when i opened the package that contained this badge.
I searched a very long time for an early silver Würster.
Actually you cannot search for these... you have to stumble upon it.
    These are exceedingly rare.
This example has just the right amount of wear, the way i like them the most.
    What a stunning detail.
I place this one at the top of my best 2016 finds.
Big thanks to my friend Seb for the connection
and panzerbaron Phi for his expertise.

Early production, not so many made.
Wurster are more famous for their PAB in bronze.

Yes the production quantities must have been very very low. Outstanding award.

                          Hi Jelle,

Excellent find my friend, lovely Wurster in Silver. As you say, exceedingly rare to find a silver one and this one is really believable as a true silver grade with correct finish. Awesome pick up.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                            Thanks for the input guys
The finish on these early Würsters is rather thin compared with other makers.
Interesting to see the difference between base metal and finish on this silver grade, that is clearly visible here. On the bronze counterpart the gradation is barely visible because the bronze finish and the basemetal look similar, what leads to people describing there badge as 'mint' while it's not.
