    GAB - Safe To Sell ???

    Fellow Members,

    A fellow collector here in New Zealand, has expressed an interest in the GAB show below.

    Before making any commitment however, he has requested (quite rightly) that it be put up for discussion here, on the forum.

    I believe it to be a late war, non maker-marked, Assmann made zinker.

    All comments please.

    hello there,

    this is a common and authentic GAB with the deformed head...but it is not made by Assmann.

    maybe RK made them? not sure...let's hear what the others think.

      Definitely an original. If I had to guess at the maker I too would say R.K.

          The design, material and setup all show that this is an original GAB. Study early thread about GABs and you will learn how they should look. I agree that this was probably made by RK because the ball hinge is very similar to the maker maked PAB from RK.
