I have never encountered a Junker without space between the swaz and rifle...
but on the other way I kinda like this badge.

Me neither, not sure what we're looking at a couple of acorns look iffy but on a whole it looks not out of the way. The pics of the Assmann #2 make it difficult to judge which grade it is. Stewy

I do tend to agree. Assmann is for sure IMO, SHuCo bronze are usually very dark (chocolate bronze). The Juncker seems to have traces of silver, pics still don't do it justice. Stewy

                      Hi guys,

I don't know what you see, but the Juncker and the Assmann are from my collection and they are 100% originals and 100% bronze grades! Also the SHuCo-O is 100% original and a bronze grade as well.

Well I apologise Sven, the pics don't do them justice & they must all be one of the lighter bronze finishes. Stewy

                          Hi Stewy,

Assmann and Juncker IABs have most of the time a bright bronze finish in my opinion and you are right, the pics are not the best. I had a look on my files and I still found pics of the Assmann IAB, but unfortunately not from the Juncker. I will have another look.
Please find attached a comparison pic of that Assmann 3 IAB in bronze compared with its silver brother. I think its clearly visible, that it is a bronze grade for sure.

                            Hi Dirk

                            Congrats on your new additions...

I agree with Sven and I see them all as bronze grade.
As he states, the bronze finish used on these makers is more golden in color than dark brown,

That said, I think the lighting in the pictures is deceiving; I can see how these might be viewed as toned, silver grades.

Also, as Alex points out...the attributed zinc Juncker is the only one I've seen with the material between the swazy and the K98k not cut away.

                            Again, nice examples!!!!

                            Best Regards, fischer
