    Not original...Flat backs are not original and considered by most to be post war.

          I was kidding.
          This badge is a fake not because it is flat back, but because it is copy made on the Souval attributed type 1 BKA.
          All the badges with this design are at 99,9999999% fakes.

          The Souval type 2 badges are extremely rare and only a handful is out there.

          PS: the most important and rare BKAs are flat back.
