    Juncker BKA type ID

    Hi
I only have a picture of the obverse but I wanted to ask whether in yours opinion this is type 4 ?
    Thanks for your time

Yes, you are right. It is a type 4 with 3 levels of oak leaves and the typical die flaws in the eyes sockets and over the skull.

For those who don't have the book here there's a little reference thread about the types:

    - THE SS TK RING
    - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
    - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
    - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

    and more!

Additional better pics from this Bandenkampfabzeichen. The award doc which belongs to this badge is also in Antonios APB book to see.

            Hi Joe
It's nice to see your badge, very nice . And this is the next example version with two cut-outs because Antonio, in his book shows the badge without cutouts

Yes, on the book there's only the no cut-outs badge showed (2 specimens + 5 different skulls), because it was IMO not so important show the same badge 3-4 times just to show the cut-outs. The important characteristics of this type are on oak leaves and on the skull.
Anyway at page 111 you can read: "Almost every badge belonging to Type 4 has no cut-outs between the snakes, but some rare samples show two cut-outs."

Here 2 other badges of the same type 4 with 2 cut-outs.
