      Hi Peter,

      An original Brehmer for me as well. Not much original finish remaining, but at least its an original, most Brehmer's we see posted are fakes.

                Almost appears to be ground dug considering the severe pitting on the obverse and the reverse.

                  I agree with the guys above, a good badge that was very badly stored. As Chet says it might even be a cleaned up ground dug.

                    Yes, this badge is ground dug, found in Belarus,Bobruisk area, where the 9th army was destroyed.
                    Now I have a hard objective in front of me-get original award docment and case for this badge...
