    Bandenkampfabzeichen

The decoration was excavated ahead of time. Can someone determine manufacturer from the attached photos?

    Best regards,
    Gregor

It looks as though it has much in common with the Junkers Company.
BUT considering that they are heavily copied and the condition of this badge, I would not way in on saying if it is an authentic award.

Granted the award is very rare, but the condition is going to take away a lot of the value in this piece. I wonder if this is one of the badges that got thrown before the soldier surrendered ?

The badge has been dug around Celje-Slovenija. Through these channels are at the end of WW2 were withdrawing large amounts of Germans soldiers from Balkans. Probably thrown before surrender.

                Value?

                Regards, Gregor

                  Hi Gregor

To me an original Juncker produced badge. Value around 50-100 USD IMO. If exact location Can be documented and pictures of it being dug + items found in its vicinity tells what unit it will add to its value.

                  Cheers Thomas

                      Hi Gregor,

Looks like an original Juncker APB for me as well, too bad about the poor condition though.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
