    It looks like a good JFS but the backplate have been removed and it looks like it have been refinish also.

      Strange one. It doesn't look like the backplate was ever installed, the crimps don't look hit at all, making me think this is an unfinished planchet that didn't make it all the way through production at the factory.

      Can you take some side shots of the hinge, and also the crimps to see if that is the case?

        Tom, I will take photos when in my possession. I have had the same thought that it may be from the JFS factory. This is also supported by that the FJ badge is from the same source (the seller bought it from a small town estate in Sweden). The auctioneer (nor the seller) didnĀ“t seem to have knowledge about the value...
