      Dear Hans,

Nice, but may I make a remark that I doubt this to be a bronze badge? It looks like a silver grade faded to a yellowish look, "vergilbt", as we say in German. Bronze ShuCo IABs are typically of a very rich, dark bronze finish.
      Cheers, Frank

        Frank,

I believe this badge is a bronze, I owned an almost identical one which I sold a couple of months back. The finish was maybe a tiny bit darker but was as light as the posted badge in some areas. Absolutely no way was it a silver and I always found the shade of finish unusual. I think probably a limited production run.

          Hi Frank,

i understand what you mean and i have one of those that your trying to explain.
One that has started to turn in to a more golden finnish. This example did with out doubt start as a Silver version but someone desided to remake it to a bronze version, could be a late war remade. Like when black Would badges was made in to Silver... in lack of real silver grades during late stage of war. I also reacted on it´s finnish to begin with when i got it, the surface of this one is definitly not like the more "golden" one i have.

I didn´t wanna say it out right away, i wanted to see if someone here noticed the difference of colouration and your the first that put it out in the open.

But in my mind this example is a Bronze, probably remade or a another limited production run by SH.u.Co.
          Regards

              Hi Hans

That's a nice net there. I found your Bronze is not so "Bronze", but it doesn't look like that faded siliver as Frank mentioned. There is no shining finish on it. Or ......this Bronze wasn't finished in its process. I also think hexagon hinge is a sign of Bronze SHuCo IAB. What do you think guys?

              best regards

              Indy

                  Dear Infansammler,

i take it that you mean vaulted when you say curved. No, it´s in a typical SH.u.Co style, flat.
