My guess is Charlemagne veterans post war souvenir pin.
Can´t imagine French SS veterans walking around in the streets, in France, wearing that pin though.

Can t imagine Drago making waffen ss pin after war.
It s just impossible . This pin for me le ww2 production. Small run when Drago was installed in Nice.
Thé price of 20€ is a joke. Price for crappy repro here in France.
I will contact Drago for more info on this.
          Thanks for thé replies anyway.
If someone has a link with same pin it s great

I received mine from Herr Fenet at a "DF" reunion back in the 80's. It's colored with a plastic coating and made by the Rosenkranz firm in Bremen.

              Hi,

once and for all : the "Charlemagne" coat of arms was never used by any French unit.
Therefore everything with it is post-war.
Many similary "medals" were done, mostly in the 80's.

It would have been better to have this topic moved to the SS subforum.

Drago, like Arthus Bertrand and Augis, did tonns of collaborationnists / Etat Français badges during WWII, and usually they are very reluctant to give any info (even reply) to such "touchy" questions.
Even the Manufacture de Sèvres was not ultra happy when i contacted them about the "Charlemagne" diplomacy plates found in the Berghof caves.

              See You

              Vince
