    Hi,
    Is this badge original and whose the maker,has a non period repair but was very cheep.

        Hi Merdock,

        Wernstein, it might be original with a replaced pin and catch, although the obverse detail seems to be very blurry. Can you post close ups?

              Maybe it is your scanner but the detail IS very bad, even for a Wernstein. I am not very convinced that this is a repaired original.

                Hi Merdock,


                My best guess would be original with replacement hinge/catch and pin. I think the poor detailing most likely is the result of the obverse being refinished with a thick paint.

                    According to my opinion tunes with this piece which not, some details
                    correspond not different pieces of who stone...... The plumage points
                    at the left wing (back) are clearly different! Either it was schlampig
                    nachberabeitet, or is much, very good casting
