Hi Chris,

I think most collectors believe in these and feel they are wartime compatible. Personally I don't like this type of pin on Souvals, I once picked up a CCC with this type of pin and returned it after a few days of examining it in hand. I just felt postwar produced to me, I didn't like the pin nor the finish on it. But that was just my gut feeling on it.
